DIAMOND WEDGES

The Bioclear Diamond Wedge is designed to solve many of the difficulties in using traditional wedges. While still maintaining strong tooth separation, the anatomical design and flexible material creates a complete marginal seal which eliminates the uncontrolled flow of excess composite and minimizes clean up after the composite has been cured.

A Diamond Cutout in the tip of an hourglass-shaped Diamond Wedge collapses as the wedge is placed into the embrasure and then reopens once through the other side, lowering the required insertion force and maximizing the line angle matrix seal. Wedge-Ring Integration is made possible by flexible tines on the handle side of the wedge which adapt to the hands of the Twin Ring, creating an uninterrupted, intimate matrix seal in the critical gingival line angle area.
